Dr. Suarez-Favetta (Board Certifed – Infectious Disease) sees patients in our Hazleton, and Wilkes-Barre locations. Dr. Suarez-Favetta is the former director of multiple Ryan White clinics in PA and NJ as well as the former Associate Director of ID Medicine for a local health care system. Dr. Suarez is passionate about helping individuals with HIV thrive.
Dr. Shubhra Shetty served as medical director of a local Ryan White HIV Clinic, as well as the Northeast Regional Associate Dean and Professor of Medicine at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Dr. Shetty is passionate about serving individuals affected by HIV—she works hard to ensure they not only survive, but thrive. Dr. Shetty provides services in the Scranton and Tunkhannock locations.
The Wyoming Valley AIDS Council and Xceed America have been providing services to HIV positive individuals since 1985 with Ryan White services as well as Infectious Disease clinics throughout our region. Dr. Suarez-Favetta in Hazleton, and Wilkes Barre, and Dr. Shubhra Shetty in Scranton, and Tunkhannock.
We accept most insurances including Medicare, Medicaid, Amerihealth Northeast, Aetna, Geisinger Health Plans, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Healthcare, UPMC, PA Health and Wellness, and others.
